A beautiful day!

I am getting spring fever. Chris has had spring fever for a while now…He has been working in the yard and he has the prettiest grass on our street. He is so proud of his grass. It’s green and lush and like a carpet. He is so happy when he looks at it. We have a neighbor who is his rival – arch nemesis - in the yard wars so to speak (We call him Arch) anyway….Chris’ grass is greener than Arch’s. You should have seen him beam over that! My man is so stinkin’ cute!

We have been working out doing P90X every night. I am dying. It is tough stuff. I want to lose 50 more lbs and then re-evaluate and see if I want to lose more. I am liking myself more every day. Everyone who knows me knows it is not like me to look at myself and like what I see but I am getting better about that. I can see the changes and know I am heading in the right direction. Chris, of course, is already hot. You can already see his ab definition….ugh so frustrating! I hope one day I will have a body to be proud of too.

Happy!

I would say I have been very happy lately. I have been feeling proud of myself losing weight....even though I have so far to go, I am getting there. Chris is home and hello - the man is sexy and all mine! I would never have imagined that after 20 years, we would still be so much in love (and lust!)

I took Friday off and went to Columbus with Betty, Jenny and Anita to the Scrapbook Expo. Lots of fun! I bought some things but not too much

....we had lunch at the Spaghetti Warehouse

and went to see some of Jenny's photos hanging in an exhibit downtown. It was tremendous fun! I was under control for the most part...didn't embarrass myself anyway. I can't speak for the others though!

March!

It is lovely here today - 60 some degrees outside and a strong breeze. How nice! Maybe we are done with winter? Do I dare hope?

This are good in the Jones house, Chris is home again and life is back to normal - as much as normal can be with this crew! JC's birthday is Tuesday, so he went to Hooters today for lunch with Chris. Hooters hussies were fliritng with them from what I hear - oh well, let them have fun. If there are any scantily clad, hot young men out there that want to flirt with me, bring it on! LOL! Chris is one up on me today...I have to catch up.

I wanted to let everyone know that I have now lost 42 lbs! I am feeling great. I really would like to lose 60 more at least.....If I lose 60 more lbs, I will think I'm so freakin' hot I won't be able to see straight! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!

The Countdown!

Chris will be home on Friday night - WOO HOO!!!!!! I can't wait, I'm doing the happy dance.....Yippee!!!

In weight loss news, I have now lost 37.5 lbs! I had a gain last week by made up for it with a 5 lb loss this week! Yippee! I can't wait to show off for Chris. :)

Long time no blog

I have been overwhelmed with the holidays and feeling alone. Chris will be home in about a month, so I am in nesting mode now. I want to make sure the house is all cozy and nice for him. I am going to paint this weekend! LOL. Christmas was good, although quiet and I rang in the New Year watching True Blood on HBO. I am still losing weight - 33 lbs so far. I hope to make it to 40 lbs by the time Chris gets home, them I will be almost half way to my goal weight. Here's a couple pictures from Christmas

Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood - Oh my!

We will be heading back today after an awesome Thanksgiving weekend. We had so much fun. I would have to say that Dollywood was my favorite. It was all about Christmas and we sang carols and enjoyed the shows, rode some rollercosters and just loved how everything was deocrated. Everyone was so nice. It was a fabulous day, even if it was cold and rainy!
